How we order search results

Results are ordered by how well they fit your search. No doctor, clinic or hospital can pay to appear higher, and no subscription changes the order.

What decides the order, most important first

  1. Match to your search: speciality, everyday problem, doctor or clinic name.
  2. Your city: we only show doctors and clinics in the city you chose.
  3. How complete and current the profile is: a listed clinic, confirmed timings, a fee, experience, and a registration we could find in the national medical register.
  4. The filters you set, such as fee, experience and language. You can also sort by experience or fee.

What the badges mean

UnverifiedThe doctor hasn’t claimed this profile yet. It shows publicly available details, which may be out of date, so call before visiting.

VerifiedThe doctor claimed this profile and we checked their identity and medical registration. Neither badge is a rating of medical care.

Ads

Ads are always labelled “Ad” and sit outside the list of results. Ads are served by Google AdSense without personalisation, so they follow the page, not you. We block ads for prescription drugs, clinics and hospitals, and other sensitive categories.

No paid listings or paid ranking. At most 3 ads on a page on a computer and 2 on a phone. No pop-ups, sticky ads or autoplay video, and no ads that look like a listing.

Correct or remove a profile

Open the profile and choose “Report an error or request removal” at the bottom of the page. We acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days. A removed profile stays off the directory even when we refresh our data.

Doctors can also claim their profile to correct it themselves. Questions or complaints: support@swasthiq.com

Details are provided by doctors and clinics, or drawn from public records. Rankings are never sold.

In an emergency call 112 or 108. This directory doesn’t give medical advice.
