Sound familiar?

The parts of the day that wear you down.

Handwriting at the counter

Prescriptions are read off paper, and calls to the ward fill the day.

Expired stock found late

Batches go past expiry on the shelf because nobody saw the date in time.

Returns that never reach the bill

Medicines go back to stock but stay charged to the patient.

Your day

Hour by hour, easier.

08:00

Ward requests, clearly written

Each ward's request is built from the doctor's orders. No reading handwriting.

09:30

OPD counter moves

The prescription and bill are ready together, with substitutes in stock shown.

11:00

Expiry spotted early

Short-dated batches and low stock are listed before they become a loss.

13:00

Registers fill themselves

Controlled medicines are recorded as you issue them. No separate book to write.

16:00

Reordering made simple

Suggested orders become purchase orders for the suppliers you choose.

What changes for you

Less running around. More control.

Typed orders only

Ward and OPD orders arrive typed, with doses and allergies already checked.

Less expired stock

Batches close to expiry are listed early so you can use or return them.

Registers kept for you

Controlled medicine records fill in as you issue, with patient and doctor.

Before and after

What you stop doing.

Today

  • Calling the ward to read a doctor's handwriting.
  • Finding expired strips at the back of the shelf.
  • Writing controlled medicine registers by hand.

With Kaagazy HMIS

  • Every order arrives typed and checked.
  • Short-dated stock is listed before it expires.
  • Each issue is recorded with patient, doctor and batch.

Our promise to pharmacists

We will help you waste less stock and write fewer registers, and set up your stores with you.

Questions

Asked by pharmacists.

Can we bring in our current stock?

Yes. We help you load your current items, batches and expiry dates before go-live, so you start with the right stock.

Does it handle more than one store?

Yes. The main store, ward stores and the OPD counter each keep their own stock, and transfers between them are recorded.

What about returns from wards?

Unused medicines returned by wards go back into stock, and the patient's bill is corrected at the same time.
