Sound familiar?

What goes wrong without it.

Bed status on a whiteboard

Admissions wait because nobody knows which bed is cleaned, blocked or about to be discharged.

Orders lost between shifts

A dose changed on the evening round is still given at the old dose the next morning.

Charts filled at end of shift

Vitals and intake-output are copied from scraps of paper, late and often incomplete.

What you get

Why your team will want this.

Every bed on one screen

Free, occupied, cleaning or booked. The desk and wards see the same live picture.

Medicines given on time

Nurses see which dose is due and mark it given, so missed doses stand out.

Early warning on sicker patients

A warning shows when a patient is getting worse, so the doctor is called sooner.

Before and after

The difference on day one.

Today

  • Bed status lives on a whiteboard and phone calls.
  • Doctors' orders get lost when the shift changes.
  • Charts are filled from memory at shift end.

With Kaagazy HMIS

  • Every ward sees free beds live on screen.
  • The next nurse sees every pending order at handover.
  • Nurses chart at the bedside as they work.

Questions

Before you talk to us.

Do nurses need a computer at every bed?

No. A ward computer, a tablet or a phone all work. What each ward uses we will decide with your nursing team in the walkthrough.

Can we set our own warning levels?

Yes. The warning thresholds and who gets alerted are set by your own clinical team.

Do we need barcode wristbands?

Scanning needs printed patient bands with a barcode. Which printers and scanners suit you we will work out with you in the walkthrough.

Are nursing care plans included?

Care plans by condition are planned. The exact set at launch is still being decided, and we will tell you plainly what is ready.
