Records that travel with patients

Patient records can be shared in the standard format that ABDM and other health systems use. A referral or a second opinion does not need a pile of photocopies.

Photocopies for every referral

Staff copy reports and summaries each time a patient is referred.

Records locked in one system

Data in one software cannot be read by another.

Patients carry bags of paper

History arrives as a folder of loose papers, hard to read.

How it works

Simple, step by step.

  1. Care is recordedVisits, reports and summaries are saved in the patient record.
  2. Kept in a standard shapeRecords are prepared in a format other systems understand.
  3. Shared with consentRecords go to another provider only when the patient agrees.
  4. Received the same wayRecords sent from other systems can be read into your record.

Questions

Before you talk to us.

Is ABDM record sharing live?

Not yet. ABDM links are planned. We do not claim ABDM certification for the HMIS.

Can we share without patient consent?

No. Sharing with outside providers depends on the patient's consent.

Can we import records from our old software?

Often, depending on how the old software exports data. We check this with you in the walkthrough.
