Sound familiar?
What goes wrong today.
Staff type name, age, address and phone by hand while a line builds up behind the patient.
A name typed wrong at the desk stays wrong on every bill, report and discharge paper.
Patients show their ABHA card, but the desk has no quick way to use it, so the details are typed anyway.
How it works
Simple, step by step.
- Enter phone or ABHAThe desk types the mobile number or scans the ABHA card.
- Check the detailsName, age, gender and address fill in, and the desk corrects anything that is wrong.
- Create the UHIDA UHID is created and the registration slip prints or goes to WhatsApp.
- Send the patient onThe patient goes to the doctor's queue, the lab or the admission desk.
In detail
Everything in quick registration.
A mobile number is enough to start. Other details can be added later.
Planned ABDM link fetches basic details from the patient's ABHA when they agree.
The UHID format, such as year and running number, is set by the hospital during setup.
Take a photo at the desk so ward staff and billing can match the face to the file.
Link a child or parent to the same phone number without mixing their records.
Print the registration slip, a file sticker or a barcode band for admitted patients.
Before and after
The difference on day one.
Today
- Every new patient means a long form typed by hand.
- Name spelling changes from bill to report.
- The line at the counter grows during rush hour.
With Kaagazy HMIS
- A phone number or ABHA fills most of the form.
- One checked name follows the patient everywhere.
- Registration is short, so the line keeps moving.
Who uses it
Made for the people doing the work.

Questions
Before you talk to us.
Is ABHA required to register?
No. A phone number is enough. ABHA can be linked later if the patient wants it.
Can we keep our current UHID format?
The format is set during setup. Whether your old numbers carry over depends on how your data can be exported, and we check this in the walkthrough.
Will our desk staff need long training?
The screen is kept short on purpose. We set it up and train your desk staff before you go live.
